What Are The Valuable Things You Should Never Forget In Life And Practice Each And Every Day?
There are a ton of valuable things you should never forget as you go through this adventure called life.
I want to share with you today, the seven things that now apply to me and my life at this time.
1. Happiness And Success Are Two Different Things
Being successful in life does not automatically equate to being happy. You may have all the materialistic things that money can buy, yet still remain unhappy. Many people have the tendency to confuse the two. One of the valuable things you should never forget is the difference. Happiness can still remain when success is gone. It is more important as it is there when you are doing something you love, which is a success not necessarily in monetary terms, but in life. Remember, happiness is limitless, success isn’t.

2. You Can’t Have It All Figured Out
It ios okay not to have it all figured out. How boring would life be if you knew everything and could do everything. As you navigate through the seasons of life, you will learn, be challenged, have obstacles laid in your path. It is all OK. You will figure it out one way or another, alone or with help, and you will find that these experiences, whether painful or pleasant are what makes you who you are.
You may still be asking yourself the questions, “What do I want to do with my life?” or “What am I passionate about?”
Differentiate the things you are good at from what you suck at, then work towards finding your passion.
Whatever you do, make sure you end up doing something you love, and not taking a job because your parents think that’s the best decision for your life, or because it would make someone else in your life happy.
Of course, you need to work and keep a roof over your head, so yes, you may have to take on a job you don’t love or even enjoy, but use it as a stepping stone to get to where you want to go.
If you were paid $10,000 dollars to leave the house all day, every day to do something you love, where would you go, and what would you choose to do with your time?

3. You Don’t Have To Be Wrong For Someone To Be Right
Your truth is a set of ideas, your own deeply held beliefs and the way you view the world.
This can cause many problems among friends, siblings, family, and colleagues. Some people react emotionally to something that they disagree with and anchor on their truth. Not willing to ever hear another opinion or perspective of another person.
The sad thing about this that it stops you from being able to listen to other perspectives, process them and evolve your opinion. You should always stick to your opinions and beliefs, they are yours, however be open to embracing the views of others.
It is an opportunity to show empathy, understanding, learn and grow.

4. You Are Growing and Changing
Growth is good. Another one of the valuable things you should never forget is that people change, you change.
You are not the same person you were 10 years ago, 5 years ago, or even 1 year ago. Change is constant so you cannot possible be the same person.
Now, whether you are changing from bad to worse, or good to better is another story. Either way you are not the same person. I am sure you have heard the expression, “some people will never change.”
Well, they do change, maybe just not in the way you had hoped for. The core personality of a person doesn’t change, unless they take the steps for transformation and effort to better themselves to grow positively.
In order to change, there are three things you need:
1. Willingness – the will to change and the motivation to put effort into it.
2. Awareness – You can only change when you acknowledge and are aware of who you are and who you want to become.
3. Understanding – You need to understand who you are what characteristics you would like to change.

5. Do Not Worry About The Things You Cannot Control
If you are like most people (myself included), you probably spend a lot of time worrying more than you should. Like me, do you worry a lot about what you cannot control?
I worry about my son, my husband, my job,my home, friends, family – even what the weather will be like tomorrow. There are things I can control, and others that are completely out of my power.
Your mind is your biggest battleground. Half of the things you think are going to happen, won’t.
Spare yourself the heartache by differentiating between the things you can and cannot control.

6. Be Grateful For Each And Every Moment
Gratitude is a good thing to live by.
There are so many good things going for us in our lives, it would be impossible to say that you cannot find one single thing in each day to be grateful for.
